PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release an accumulated internal gas when the internal pressure of a battery rises exceeding a threshold and thereby restrains a crack or the like from being produced by providing a battery container wherein a power generation element is stored, a hole formed in the battery container and a resin material so formed on the surface of the battery container as to cover the hole. SOLUTION: After a hole 12 is formed in an aluminum plate, a battery lid 13 having a predetermined shape is formed by means of pressing. Next, a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) film 14 is affixed to an aluminum foil piece 15 by an adhesive, and the PET film-aluminum foil member is so laminated on the outside surface of the battery lid 13 as to cover the hole 12. In this case, the PET film-aluminum foil material is formed only on the peripheral part of the hole 12, and the provided battery lid is mounted to a battery container body wherein a power generation element is stored. Thereby, a safety mechanism capable of releasing a gas accumulated inside when the internal pressure rises exceeding a specified pressure can be formed. |
