PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent a picture from distortion by shutter shake in photographing by providing a means for delaying while the shutter shake settles from when a recording start signal from a recording start button enters a CPU until when recording is actually started. SOLUTION: When a photographer presses a photographing button 18 so as to record an image, the recording start signal is fetched by a main CPU 15. After that, just for a time when shutter shake caused by pressing the photographing button 18 settles, the main CPU 15 delays a recording start time, compresses an image by an image compressor 6 after the shutter shake settles and prepares an image compression file. Or, in this case, when delaying, after the photographing button 18 is pressed, a delay circuit for delaying the recording start signal is provided not in the main CPU 15, and it is constituted so that the delayed recording start signal enters the main CPU 15.
