PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary anode X-ray tube having a large exhaust pipe on the anode side and having improved exhaust conductance. SOLUTION: An exhaust pipe 11 made of oxygen free copper and a nickel- plated ring 13 made of SUS 403 are brazed to a bearing case 5 (made of oxygen free copper) on a rotary anode side, and a covar ring 12 is fused to a glass envelope 10. A bearing 4 and a rotor 3 are set and adjusted in the bearing case 5, and the envelope 10 having the covar ring 12 and the bearing case 5 having the exhaust pipe 11 and the ring 13 are welded at the weld position B to assemble the anode side. A cathode section having a glass flange is glass- fused to the end face of the envelope 10. The exhaust pipe 11 is inserted into an exhaust base to flange-seal an assembled X-ray tube for vacuum evacuation.
