PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input three-dimensional data of resolution of the same degree as that of the case that a depth size is small even in the case of an object having a large depth size by continuously scanning plural times a detecting light at different projecting angle ranges. SOLUTION: A measuring system 1 has a three-dimensional camera 2 for stereoscopically measuring by a slit light projecting method, and a host system 3 for processing output data of the camera 2. The camera 2 outputs a two-dimensional image indicating color information of an object Q and data necessary for its calibration together with measured data for specifying three-dimensional positions of a plurality of sampling points on the object Q. A detecting light (slit light) is projected, a detected light reflected on the object Q is receiver, and converted into an electric signal. In this case, a plurality of operations having different projecting angle ranges of the detected light are continuously conducted in response to a designation of starting the operation. The designation of starting the operation is conducted by an operation of a switch or a button or a control signal from an exterior.
