PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch device having the good operability of a key top and capable of reliably preventing an upper locking member from being released from an upper sliding lock section when the upper locking member of a first hinge member or a second hinge member constituting a guide support member is slidably locked by the upper sliding lock section provided on the back face of the key top. SOLUTION: When a key top 41 is depressed and the locking pins 63, 64 of a hinge member 48 are slid in the horizontal direction (right direction in the figure) in the locking groove 45 of a lock section 43, the outside face of the plate-like body 57 of the hinge member 48 and the inside face of the lock section 43 are kept in contact with each other. The outside face of the plate-like body 57 and the inside face of the lock section 43 are cooperated together to regulate the movement of a guide support member, thus preventing the locking pins 63, 64 from being released from the locking groove 45.
