摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ease of sound production, sound volume, rising, etc., of a wind instrument by disposing a hermetically sealed resonance cylinder between a cork plug for preventing air leakage and a mouthpiece hole 7 for blowing breath in order to produce sounds. SOLUTION: The resonance cylinder 8 is made of the same material as the tubular body of the musical instrument and the shape thereof is formed by cutting in a metallic column from one side and shaping the inner side into a dome shape, then brazing a columnar metallic plate of the same blank as a cap thereto and completely hermetically sealing both. A thread arbor 2 is brazed to this resonance cylinder 8 and is inserted into columnar cork 3 having an outside diameter exactly fitting into the bore of the tubular body of the musical instrument. When air is blown from the mouthpiece hole 7, the flow of the air is generated in the tube and the air column confined thus far in the tubular body vibrates to generate the sounds. At this time, the vibration of the air is transferred to the outside wall of the resonance cylinder 8 and is further transmitted via the wall into the hermetically sealed resonance cylinder 8. Since this vibration is amplified in the resonance cylinder 8 and, the sound volume, the rising of the sounds, etc., are greatly increased.</p>
