<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED display element which can be extremely miniaturized by collectively constituting LED's of three colors and transistors performing switch-driving for turning on and off the LED's. SOLUTION: Three field effect transistors 15, 16, 17 having source electrodes 10, drain electrodes 12 and gate electrodes 11 are formed on the surface of a silicon substrate 2. Three chip type LED's, i.e., a red LED 4, a green LED 5 and a blue LED 6 are arranged on the surface of the silicon substrate 2 which surface is adjacent to the field effect transistors 15, 16, 17. The field effect transistors 15, 16, 17 are connected with the red LED 4, the green LED 5 and the blue LED 6, respectively, and switch-driving for turning on and off the LED's is independently performed to the respective LED's.</p> |
