PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium storing real-time recording/ reproduction information, a real-time recording and reproducing method and a device therefor, and a file operating method using the information. SOLUTION: Real-time recording/reproduction attributes are added to a file by storing real-time record/reproduction information for securing real-time record/reproduction in a file-control information area and each real-time file, or by storing them in a separate file. Thus, the real-time recorded file can be reproduced continuously without breaks. Moreover, the generation of a file to which the rear-time record/reproduction added with attributes, expansion of the data area, recording and reproduction are also made possible.
