PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting module for projecting light having various colors, hues and intensities. SOLUTION: This device includes a light source 10 and a reflector 12 for directing light along an optical path. A primary optical element 16 reduces the cross sectional area of an optical zone where light enters the area of a filter assembly 18 in the optical path. In order to generate light of color, hue and intensity desired by a user, filters are arranged in the filter assembly 18 under the change of a combination or an extent. The filters 18 may physically be positioned in the optical path, due to the refracting action of the optical element 16, but in this case, the filters 18 change the light projected from a lighting module without any influence on the beam by the time when a filter 18 is rotated for aligning a filter segment with the optical element 16.
