PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of performing appropriate image processing without mistaking processing performed for photographic film even when the photographic film is erroneously packed in a cartridge. SOLUTION: A cartridge ID and a film ID are read (200 and 202), the cartridge ID is collated with the film ID (206), and the image processing is performed based on the collated result. When the collated result is different, that is, when the photographic film is erroneously packed in the cartridge, a warning is given to an operator (212), and the image processing is performed based on information on a priority set side or information inputted by the operator.
