PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information provision system which does not consume electric power wastefully and which supports the movement of a pedestrian. SOLUTION: A personal navigator 8 which is used to project and receive light; and a corner cube 4 which is buried in a ceiling 16 situated on a passage 12 inside an institution such as a hospital or the like, in which a plurality of films are pasted on its reflecting faces and which reflects computerized light; compose a personal navigation system 2. A user 14 who is moved in an advancing direction 10 on the passage 12 carries the personal navigator 8. A laser beam is projected from the personal navigator 8 to the upper direction (the direction of an arrow 6). The personal navigator 8 receives light in a direction (the direction of an arrow 7) opposite to the projecting direction (the direction of the arrow 6) out of reflected light by a reflecting body. The personal navigator 8 outputs present-position information, stored in itself, according to the deflecting direction of the received light. |
