PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a state management of each node by a same processing method for all nodes connected to a LAN. SOLUTION: The node state management system manages a state of plurality of nodes A-F that are interconnected via a local area network 1 and make mutual communication. Each of the nodes A-F is provided with a communication state management device 4 that transmits a health check signal to all other nodes for a prescribed period simultaneously and discriminates a fault occurred in the other nodes depending on number of times of receiving the health check signal from the other nodes within a prescribed time.
