A compartmented container comprises a box 10 with a longitudinal partition 22 which projects above lateral .partitions 24 and a removable tray 30 which has one side wall 34 undercut at 40 to receive the upper edge of the longitudinal partition 22 when the tray is nested within the box and rests upon the lateral partitions 24. A lid 44 has a groove 48 to mate with an upper sealing edge 20 of the box which is also provided with a buttressed rim 16 and a bottom rim (26), Fig. 2, not shown, a bead 33 on the bottom of the tray 30 having notches to accept the lateral partitions 24. The lid 44, when closed, securely engages the tray 30 so that the compartments of the tray 30 and the box 10 are substantially separated from each other. |
