<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the system to detect a defect caused in inputted time division multiplex signal itself and to inform a monitor side of its defect. SOLUTION: A signal processing unit 111 detects it when a signal fault is caused in a inputted time division multiplex signal 13. Then whether or not presence of a fault detected signal as to the signal fault in the inputted time division multiplex signal 13 is discriminated, and when the presence is not discriminated, an alarm signal is sent to a fault monitor 12. Then the signal processing unit 111 outputs only an alarm signal as to the signal fault generated newly in the time division multiplex signal 13.</p> |
