FIELD: railway transport; lubrication of locomotive wheels. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has sleeve fitted in brake block and accommodating spring-loaded piston, piston-nipple and chamber with grease placed between pistons. Grease is delivered to wheel flange under action of spring. Cable with weight coupled with piston serves to check consumption of grease. EFFECT: reduced wear of wheels and rail head sides in curved sections of railway track, checking of grease consumption. 3 dwg
