The top (16) and bottom (14) parts have complementary wedges (30) to move the underside (36) relative the top side (38) through an angle ( alpha ) so that the underside is wedged onto the top side in a first operating position. Top (16) and bottom (14) parts swivel relative to one another and the two wedges are preferably in the form of sectors of a circle in whose center is a swivel joint which in the second position exerts a closing force on the container spout. The top part (16) has a swivel pin whose expanded head rests via a first surface on the second surface of the top part (16), with both these surfaces set at an angle in relation to the swivel axis (18). The spout system is fitted to foldable carton boxes.
