PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting table structurally simple and manufacturable at a low cost. SOLUTION: This lifting table has a lifting mechanism 3 between a base 1 and a top 2. The lifting mechanism 3 comprises a horizontal feed screw 10, first receiving part 21A, 21B consisting of nuts threadably attached to the feed screw 10, second receiving parts 22A, 22B attached to the feed screw 10, and a supporting rod 25 axially attached on each side to the receiving parts 21A, 21B, 22A, 22B, the base 1, and the top 2. When the feed screw 10 is rotated by driving a motor, the first receiving parts 21A, 21B approach and leave the second receiving parts 22A, 22B. Thereby the supporting rod 25 is raised and lowered to raise and lower the top 2.
