PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a rubber article or a rubber member proof against the formation of dirt and the re-deposition of dirt by swelling at least part of its surface with a solvent and using it under an dust-proof environment. SOLUTION: In using a rubber article or a rubber member desirably being one used in an electronic component manufacturing equipment in a dust-proof environment, desirably, rubber gloves, a suction holding member, a conveying supporting member, or a clamping member, it is used after at least part of its surface is supplied with a solvent, desirably, nearly periodically to swell it therewith. The starting rubber of the rubber article or the rubber member is desirably at least one member selected among natural rubbers, isoprene rubbers, styrene/butadiene rubbers, butadiene rubbers, chloroprene rubbers, nitrile rubbers, butyl rubbers, ethylene/propylene rubbers, urethane rubbers, silicone rubbers, fluororubbers, acrylic rubbers, epichlorohydrin rubbers, and polysulfided rubbers. The solvent is desirably acetone or the like. |
