PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a product having excellent flexibility by manufacturing a styrene thermoplastic elastomer of a surface treating material of a glass run containing a thermoplastic elastomer or vulcanized EPDM compound as a base material by co-extrusion molding. SOLUTION: A styrene thermoplastic elastomer is manufactured of a surface treating material 2 of a glass run containing a thermoplastic elastomer or vulcanized EPDM compound as a base material 1 by co-extrusion molding. As the thermoplastic elastomer, a block copolymer having a polystyrene in a hard segment, a polybutadiene or polyisoprene or polyolefin in a soft segment is used. As a type of the copolymer, styrene.butadiene.styrene, styrene.isoprene.styrene, styrene.ethylene/butylene.styrene obtained by adding hydrogen thereto to form a rubber block as a saturation type or the like is used.
