PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer only a required part by transferring a transfer layer with a contact pressure produced through press contact rotation of the back face roller of a material to be transferred and the back face roller of a transfer foil according to a print or an image stamped on a cylindrical stamp fixed to the circumferential surface of the back face roller of the transfer foil. SOLUTION: A cylindrical stamp 3 stamped with a print or an image to be transferred is fixed to the circumferential surface of the back face roller 1 of a transfer foil B. Position of an object to be transferred is detected by a sensor 10 and rotation of the back face roller 1 is controlled to match the detected position. Transfer layer of the long transfer foil B is traveled on the transferring face of a traveling long transferring material A while facing it. The transfer layer is transferred with a contact pressure produced through press contact rotation of the back face roller 2 of the material to be transferred and the back face roller 1 of the transfer foil B according to the print or the image stamped on the cylindrical stamp 3 of the back face roller 1 of the transfer foil B.
