PURPOSE: A new extract for activating the physiology is provided to represent various physiological functions of a plant origin. CONSTITUTION: A physiology activating extract contains an ethyl acetate ingredient of an indigo plant being obtained by dipping a raw indigo plant of an organic solvent being used for extracting. Herein, the ethyl acetate indigo ingredient is a 3,5,4'-trihydroxy-6,7-methylene dioxy-flavon, a kaempferol, a 3,5,7,4'-tetrahydroxy-6-metoxy-flavon, a gallic acid, a caffeic acid, an indirubin, a pheophorbide a, and a methyl pheophorbide a. The extract actually does not have a side effect to a mammal and a human, therefore the extract can be used safely for food, cosmetics, and medicine for human being.
