PURPOSE: A method of production of information recording carrier is provided to produce with high productivity an information recording carrier having small eccentricity and capable of high density recording. CONSTITUTION: The method of production of information recording carrier applies a curable resin to an original(1) having a pattern corresponding to necessary information, and forms projections(2), holes, recesses, or the like, on the surface of the original(1) so that they fit to an information recording carrier substrate when the pattern on the original is transferred to the information recording carrier substrate by bonding the original and the information recording carrier substrate.
