摘要 PURPOSE: A semiconductor integrated circuit is provided to solve a problem originated from a through-current occurring in transition period between an active mode and a sleep mode. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit comprises a high speed bus driver coupled bus lines, and a bur receiver. The high speed bus driver enters an active mode driving power from a positive power supply line and a virtual ground line, and a sleep mode cutting off the virtual ground line from a ground line to reduce power consumption. In a transition period between the active mode and the sleep mode, and the sleep mode, a switching circuit is coupled between the high speed driver and the bus line to cut off the bus line from the high speed driver, so that a through-current originated from a leakage current can be cut off.
