MANIPULATOR OF DRILLING PIPE

PURPOSE: A manipulator is provided to easily handle a drilling pipe when the drilling pipe is connected and is removed in a drilling work. CONSTITUTION: The manipulator contains:a post(10) firmly installed in a drill floor(4) closed in a moon pool of a drill ship(2); a turning body(20) installed to be able to rotate in the post(10); an arm(30) to be able to expand and to contract; a clamp(40) to hold a drilling pipe; a piston(50) to control the upper and lower angle of the arm(30).
