PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-purpose compound sheet which can be freely deformed according to the shape of an article when in use by adhering a pulp to a net member to be used for a core to form a pulp layer, and giving appropriate expandability and elasticity. SOLUTION: When a pulp layer B1 is formed by adhering a pulp to a yarn part of a net member A1 for a core to be formed by knitting the yarn, it is a good practice for use to adjust the concentration of the dissolved pulp to be approximately 0.1-1.0% (the ratio to water) by mixing a hard wood pulp with a paper mulberry pulp of long fiber for the dissolved pulp to form the pulp layer B1 on the net member A1. During the manufacture, the net member A1 is kept in a slightly tightened condition in the width direction to allow the pulp to be adhered to every yarn part while the net member A1 to be drawn from a supply roll is immersed in a vat by a guide roll, and then, the net member is dried by a hot air drier to form the pulp layer B1.
