PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow plural persons to adjust adjusting handles by providing the adjusting handles for adjusting the operation temperature of thermostats controlling energizing to a heater at plural places and interposing a linking device between each adjusting handle and thermostat. SOLUTION: A hot plate as a cooker is obtained by fixing a thermal insulation plate 3 onto the bottom surface 2 of a cooker main body 1 through mounting legs and installing two thermostats 7 on the surface 2 at a necessary interval. Each thermostats 7 is constituted of a bimetal 9, the contact 11 and a rotation adjusting members 12 for adjusting temperature and when the member 12 is turned, energizing of the fixed piece 17 of the contact 11 is adjusted to vary a temperature turning off the contact 11. Namely at the time of sliding one of right/left adjusting handles 23, a handle link 27 moves the linking bar 19 of the linking device 18 and each swinging link 21 swings with the moving to turn each member 12.
