IMPROVED EFFICIENCY/REDUCED NOISE GENERATING ROLLER THRUST BEARING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller thrust bearing for reducing generation of operational noise by enhancing efficiency. SOLUTION: Plural cylindrical roller 10 elements turned in the radial direction are provided in a circular bearing cage having an inside diameter and an outside diameter and the upper surface and the lower surface. The roller 10 elements respectively project upward and downward from the upper surface and the lower surface of the cage 20, and upper side and lower side bearing rings 40 having an inside diameter and an outside diameter rollingly contact with the respective parts of the roller 10 elements projecting upward and downward from the upper surface and the lower surface of the cage 20. The upper side and lower side bearing rings 40 reduce a sideslip of rollers 10 to the bearing rings 40 to reduce operational noise of a thrust bearing. A characteristic of another one bearing ring 40 can be changed in proportion to a load to which load bearing capacity of a bearing is added.
