PURPOSE: The memory device is to eliminate skew which is generated due to all input/output pads connected through interior data lines, to reduce size of the memory device by shortening length of the data line, and to enhance speed of input/output process. CONSTITUTION: The memory device comprises input/output pads, cell arrays, and an interior data line(10) for connecting the input/output pads and the cell arrays. If the number of the input/output pads, the cell arrays, and the interior data lines is even, the input/output pads, the cell arrays, and the interior data lines are divided into a number of sets.
