PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain normal print results by setting an image data generation means for enlarging an original image to a designated size and generating image data obtained by dividing the original image and a transmitting means for transmitting the divided image data in a designated order to a printing apparatus. SOLUTION: A printed output of an original image (11.1) when designated to be poster printed in 4×4 sheets is shown in the result (11.2). Sheets 112-1 to 112-4 are blank pages generated by enlarging, dividing the image. In other words, these are parts not to be output unless a blank save function is turned off. For instance, when the image is output in a normal order, papers where the divided image is printed are output in a raster scan order from the upper left to lower right of the (11.2). If blank parts are not output, the result cannot be obtained normally even when output objects are arranged in an arrangement of 4×4 in the output order from the upper left. However, the blank save function is cut off in the case of poster printing, and therefore blank parts are output thereby reproducing the original image. |
