PURPOSE: An automatic timer recording method in VCR is provided to register a program information, in which a user frequently records at a time zone, on an automatic timer recording table separate from a normal timer recording table so as to provide a convenience. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: selecting a normal timer recording mode to display a normal timer recording menu screen; setting a recording channel, starting time and ending time on the screen; determining whether a user registers the set information on an automatic timer recording table; registering the set information on the automatic timer recording table if a register signal is input. In the registering step, a user can register the set information on the automatic timer recording table as well as delete an existing item previously registered. Thereby, the user does not need to directly set all of the programs to be recorded. |
