PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce vitamin B6 in high efficiency more than before from DTP (1-deoxy-D-threo-pentulose) and HT (4-hydroxy-L-threonine). SOLUTION: In the production process for vitamin B6 from DTP and HT, DTP and HT are brought into contact with the enzymatic reaction system prepared from the cells of a microorganism that can produce vitamin B6 from DTP and HT and their enzymatic contacts and reactions occur in the presence of nicotinamide adenine dinuclectide phosphate (NADP+), nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) and adenosine triphosphate.
