[Also in Divisions E1-E2] Insulated roof boarding comprising a fibreboard panel 1 provided with parallel striffeners 2 extending in a longitudinal direction and an insulating material 3 is made by spraying the components of a foamable plastics material onto the board between the stiffeners. The foamable composition, which preferably comprises a polyol and a polyisocyanate, may be sprayed so that the polyurethane foam formed stands up against the stiffeners in ridges 4. The boarding may be made in a continuous process whereas panels are passed beneath an array of spray nozzles. |
