PURPOSE: A digital two step controller provide an actuator element with an analogue/digital converter(31). an output driver(11) and control means(30) with a memory. CONSTITUTION: An analogue measuring signal(UI) is a digital two step controller receives from the actuator, is converted in the analogue/digital converter(31) into an actual digital value and is input into a first region of the memory of the control means. The actual digital value is compared with a theoretical digital value stored in a second region. The output of the control means turns off and is set at ZERO When the actual digital value is larger or equal to the theoretical digital value. The output of the control means turns on and is set at one when the theoretical digital value is less than the actual digital value. The input of new actual digital value through analogue/digital converter always has analogue signal and consist of after a sampling period Dgr.t. The regulation steps are repeated in an interrupt called in cycles and corresponding to the sampling interval.
