PURPOSE: A meter using a magnetoresistor is provided, which can accurately measure a using power amount using the magnetoresistor. CONSTITUTION: A meter using a magnetoresistor comprises: a circular disk (200) for dividing a side face in a slanting line direction and for attaching a magnet (201) to the divided one side; a rotation means (100) for rotating the circular disk (200) in a speed corresponding to an using power; a circular disk rotation sensing circuit (300) for outputting a voltage corresponding to a magnetic flux for the circular disk (200); and a microcomputer (500) for measuring a using power amount corresponding to a number of rotation and a rotation angle of the circular disk (200) according to the output voltage of the a circular disk rotation sensing circuit (300). Therefore, since the number of rotation and the rotation angle of the circular disk can to accurately judged, the using power amount can to be accurately measured.
