PURPOSE: A device and a method are provided to prevent the repeated damage of the section processed to form a scarf face by a cutting tool and to maintain the fine scarf face. CONSTITUTION: A platy scarf face processing method comprises the steps of:shifting a platy body to a returning direction after returning the platy body; stopping the returning of the platy body on a cutting position having a tool pad on one side of both surfaces of the platy body; and pressurizing the part divided from the tool pad and the platy body using a pressurizing body.
