PURPOSE: A method is provided to improve the quality of the surface of a cast steel manufactured within a cast equipment. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a continuous cast steel is composed of the steps of discharging a liquid metal into a partial coagulation state, supplied into a pipe cast(12) recognizing the movement of the cast material in a regular area shortly after escaping from the cast. At this time, the recognition of the movement is achieved by a sensor(21) which demands for radiation without contacting and delaying and is designed and arranged to generate a measuring signal for the route, time and movement of the cast material that is possible to estimate.
