PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition for ink-jet recording capable of realizing an excellent image in a tracing paper. SOLUTION: This ink composition comprises at least carbon black, a dye of the formula [R1 is PO(OM)2 or COOM; X and Y are each an alkoxy; M is a cation], water and a water-soluble organic solvent. The composition comprises ethylene glycol and glycerol in the ratio of 4:1 to 2:1 and is capable of realizing an excellent image. |
