PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily curve a tube device for medical treatment, such as a canula, which is elastically deformable for the purpose of communicating the inside of a body and the outside of the body by a desired angle to a desired direction and to maintain the curving state. SOLUTION: This tube device has an elongated tube body 1 which is mainly formed of a soft synthetic resin and is nearly straight and is elastically deformable. A metallic core member 21 extending in the longitudinal direction of the tube body 1 is integrated with the extracorporeally positioned side wall portion 4 of the tube body 1. After the front end side portion 3 of the tube body 1 is inserted into the body, the core member 21 is plastically deformed by exerting external force for curving on the cylindrical body part 4 by the operator's fingertip by which the cylindrical body part 4 is curved to the desired direction by the desired angle. The curving state is maintained in the once curved cylindrical body part 4 against the elastic resetting force to nearly straighten the cylindrical body part 4 possessed by the cylindrical body part by the effect tending to maintain the plastical deformation state of the core member 21. |
