PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively divide the boundary of sorted groups using discharged paper. SOLUTION: When paper to be sorted is discharged to a discharge base 7 from an image forming device A, a rotor 34 is brought into contact with the surface near the edge of paper to be sorted on the discharge base 7, and the rotor 34 is rotated by a specified angle to rotate only the paper to be sorted, within a horizontal plane in a direction of inclining the paper to the other paper. Printed paper is therefore sorted in a plurality of sorted groups on the discharge base 7. The boundary of the sorted groups can therefore be positively divided while using the discharged paper.
