PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cook the rice of excellent quality in a short time by using a free heating means. SOLUTION: This rice cooking pot is constituted of an outer pot 1, an inner pot 2 disposed in it and a receiving base 3 for mounting the outer pot 1. The outer pot 1 and the inner pot 2 are respectively provided with a lid body 4 or 14. A bottom part opening 5 is opened at the bottom part of the outer pot 1 and mounting projections 6 for mounting the inner pot 2 are projectingly provided on the upper surface of the periphery. A knob part 10 where a discharge port 11 is passed through is disposed at the center of the lid body 4 of the outer pot 1 and a plug body 12 is disposed to the discharge port 11 so as to be freely removed and inserted. The knob part 16 is disposed at the center of the lid body 14 of the inner pot 2 and steam holes 17 passed through to the inside and outside are opened on the periphery of the knob part 16. All constituting elements are constituted into ceramic by heat-resistant soil.
