PURPOSE: A receiver for an interleave selection call signal is provided to reduce the power consumption. CONSTITUTION: The interleave address data are transformed into address data corresponding to addresses respectively. Based upon the interleave address data, a timing detector detects an established decision timing which is fixed in a desired position of an interleave address data block. A simple comparator compares partial address data corresponding to respective addresses with that of its counterpart at the established decision timing. Consequentially, a radio system is discontinued from the power supply at the established decision timing in accordance with the result of the comparator. |
