PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb a shift between a transfer coordinate set by a transfer machine and a core position of a work to reduce failures in transfer of the work by providing a neck around a center of a standing cylindrical member and fit-holding a predetermined cylindrical member at a holding part which is not constricted in the vicinity of both upper and lower ends of the neck. SOLUTION: In producing a photosensitive drum used in an electronic photograph copier or the like, the retainer 3 holding the produced photosensitive drum or a material tube 1 or the like as a raw material on a pallet is equipped with a neck 3a in the vicinity of the center of a cylindrical part extending upward from the pallet and is fitted with the circular material tube 1 only at holding parts in the vicinity of two upper and lower regions which are not constricted for holding. Thus a gap between an outer diameter of the holding part and an inner diameter of the material tube 1 is suppressed within a predetermined value for keeping positioning accuracy of the material tube 1 before transfer, while the neck 3a prevents a lower end of the material tube 1 from being in contact with the retainer, thereby increasing allowance of a shift of a core. Therefore, failures in transfer of the material tube 1 by a transfer machine can be prevented.
