PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle also chemically fogged type direct positive photosensitive material by providing a light shielding member shutting out exposure light, on an exposure path at the time of processing light fogged type direct positive photosensitive material. SOLUTION: A light source unit 200 is a container of two-stage shape mainly composed of containers 202, 203 and a cover member 204 provided closably to the container 202. A light source 210 comprises a fluorescent light, and a sensor 212 detects the change of light quantity of the light source 210. The container 203 is provided inside with a light shielding means (light shielding member) 214 formed of black cloth extended to be windable between shafts provided at two points in a vertical direction (a direction from the surface of this paper face to the back face). The light shielding member 214 has the function of making an opening provided at its intermediate part, face an exposure optical path in the case of using positive photosensitive material while shutting out exposure light so as not to strike upon photosensitive material in a passage in the case of using chemically fogged type direct positive photosensitive material or negative color photosensitive material.
