PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occupied space by a cover opening/closing mechanism and to miniaturize a device by making a 1st shaft and a 2nd shaft common and arranging 1st and 2nd covers in the same area with respect to a shaft part. SOLUTION: A battery cover 7 and a cartridge chamber cover 8 are opened/ closed with the same shaft 4 as fulcrum, and they are formed in the same area with respect to the shaft 4, so that the outer periphery part 7b of the cover 7 is made to come close to a film cartridge 9. By making the cover 7 come close to the cartridge 9 to such an extent that a driving battery 5 is superposed on the cartridge 9 in the case of viewing from the front of a camera, arrangement where dead space on the periphery of a cartridge chamber 3 is reduced is realized. Therefore, the cover body opening/closing mechanism part(battery cover 7, cartridge chamber cover 8 and shaft 4) is miniaturized, and a distance between the chamber 3 and a lens barrel 2 is shortened, whereby the camera is miniaturized.
