<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liq. crystal device having a high numerical aperture without reducing its productivity by making the processing direction for rubbing of an oriented film the direction where a portion where a drain electrode is connected with a pixel electrode in one pixel is rubbing-processed before the other portion. SOLUTION: A TFT array substrate 1 is constituted by successively forming a TFT consisting of gate wiring 2, a gate insulating film, source wiring 3, a gate electrode, a semi-conductor layer, a source electrode 5 and a drain electrode 6 and a pixel electrode 7 on a transparent insulating substrate. Then, a polyimide system oriented film is formed by a transfer method on the TFT array substrate 1, forming the gate wiring 2, the source wiring 3, the TFT 4, the pixel electrode 7 or the like. Then, the whole surface of the oriented film is rubbing processed. The rubbing-processed direction is made to the direction where a portion where the drain electrode 6 is connected with the pixel electrode 7 in one pixel is rubbing-processed before the other portion.</p> |
