PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device whose manufacturing is of easy and which is capable of being thinned and also whose power consumption is small. SOLUTION: This display device is constituted by arranging plural sealed vessels in an adjacent relation. In each sealed vessel 3, an insulator base member 4 which is to be provides at the bottom part, a support member 5 which is to be provided on the insulator base member 4, a hue plate 6 which is to be supported by the support member 5, an upper part transparent electrode 7 which is to be provided on the hue plate 6 and a side part electrode 8 which is to be provided around the support member 5. Moreover, in each sealed vessel 3, a coloring fluid 9 which is deformable and movable is sealed. There are three kinds of red, green and blue in hue plates 6 being in respective sealed vessels 6 and hue plates 6 of respectively different kinds are provided in adjacent sealed vessels. Then, either the color of the hue plate 6 or the color of the coloring fluid 9 is made to be able to be observed from the outside by moving the coloring fluid 9 in accordance with a voltage to be applied on electrodes 7, 8.
