PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the system capable of recovering a database into a state just before the occurrence of a fault. SOLUTION: A client machine 2-I translates a transaction generated on the day to an SQL sentence and successively preserves it in a transaction data file 23 while adding generation time data, and a server machine 1 backs up the final database on the previous day into a previous day data storage part 12, translates the transaction originally executed by the relevant machine on the day to an SQL sentence and successively preserves it in a transaction data file 14 while adding generation time data. When any fault occurs, the transaction data executed by the server machine originally on the day and the transaction data executed by each client machine are collected and stored in the order of occurrence time and based on the final database on the previous day, all the transactions on the day are executed again in the order of generation so that the database can be recovered into state just before the fault occurrence.
