PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data selector capable of realizing a data selecting function by a hardware with much smaller logic scale and circuit scale. SOLUTION: This selector has a head recognizing part 10 for detecting the head of a section is inputted, a data buffer 11 for temporarily holding the received section, a condition table 16 for storing an entry as a condition to select the section, comparator part 12 for comparing the section header of the section with the entry, a discrimination integrating part 13 for discriminating the comparative discriminated result up to the moment based on the discriminated result of the comparator part 12, a discrimination holding part 14 for holding the comparative discriminated result outputted from the discrimination integrating part 13, and a counter 15 for generating a signal for synchronizing the head recognizing part 10, data buffer 11, condition table 16 and discrimination holding part 14. |
