PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator for supporting a hot line capable of surely, safely, and labor-savingly conducting fixing/removing to/from a pole in spite of using an existing robot. SOLUTION: A mounting seat surface 31 of an arc horn 4 is formed on the end surface facing the long direction of a hot line A held in a hot line holding part 2 on the outer surface of a holding fixture 3, and a pair of plane facing to-be interposed parts 32 inclined at an acute angle to the long direction of the hot line A held in the hot line holding part 2 is formed on the outer side of the holding fixture 3.
