PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the increase of power consumption in an entire device by providing a means for controlling either of two heaters so as to be energized from transferring one image to an intermediate transfer body till transferring the next image. SOLUTION: When the first time scanning of an original is finished, a reader controller 106 makes a fixing heater control signal/STOPHEAT signal to a low level so that a one-side fixing heater should be made to be in an unenergized state for an engine control part 2002. When the signal becomes at the low level, the control part 2002 controls the fixing heaters inside a fixing roller and a pressure roller so as not to be turned on simultaneously. By controlling either fixing heater inside the fixing roller or the pressure roller so as not to be energized between the images from the controller 106 side, the power consumption is restrained. |
